En una de esas sesiones de perdedera conciente de tiempo en internet, hace unas semanas me topé con esto y había olvidado postearlo.
Resulta que la página youtube.com decidió tomar en cuenta la audiencia que tiene el cine independiente, y abrió un espacio virtual denominado THE YOUTUBE SCREENING ROOM, en el cual periódicamente se van mostrando desde cortos independientes de directores conocidos con casts renombrados, hasta animaciones de desconocidos e historias totalmente nuevas.

Para ustedes amantes del cine, es una gran forma de ver distintas propuestas, todas en un sólo lugar, y sin costo alguno. Este es uno de los elementos más interesantes de la revolución informática que lidera hoy la Internet, el hecho de llevar el medio directamente al usuario, borrando los límites entre ambos y poniendo el control en nuestra mano.
Tú decides qué publicas o qué ves, sin intermediarios ni filtros, un fenómeno que se ha popularizado también por la explosión de los blogs en la web, aunque esto será tema de un post aparte que viene por ahí.
